Felix the Cat STUDIES

Here they are (sorry for the bad quality, I'll post better ones when I get the time).



This first one shows off my crappy beginings. I numbered them so that you'd know what order I did them in, although I understand that that isn't too hard. These show me just getting the hang of the character.

This one shows me getting the hang of it (the sketches near the bottom). I know, I need more work at it, but I'm going to take a break from Felix and go for the monkey character next.

And here's a picture of the panel that I'm going to evetually try to recreate in it's entirety.

How did I do? Horribly... I know.

Starting in a few days or so I'm going to post my sketches. These are the ones that I've been working on trying to get a cartoonier design. Starting with one of the orginals, Felix the Cat.

Woo-hoo!

I finally hit 30 pages on this script that I'm writing right now. That's really a huge amount for someone who hasn't really ever been able to keep his focus on one thing at a time (currently I'm working on two scripts, one short story, and a short script so, yeah...).

Here's hoping that I can get to 120 or so pages before July.

*prays to the lord and savior Jesus H. (what does the H stand for?) Christ for inspiration even though he only ever prays when he wants something and when something bad happens he curses at the heavens, also if in the event that he ever does get what he prays for he then thanks Satan. So yeah, not really helping to convince the gods that he deserves anything*

Well...

Those last two posts or so that I did? Yeah, no longer happening. Oh, well.
